JadLog is a company committed to the preservation of the environment and sustainability. Its performance is based on the efficient use of resources and the minimization of environmental impacts. The reduction of water consumption and CO2 emissions, as well as the use of materials causing lesser environmental impacts are some of JadLog's sustainable initiatives.
Over one million products are packaged by JadLog yearly. So as to reduce the impact caused by the generation of waste from such operations, JadLog has adopted oxy-biodegradable plastic envelopes which carry the D2W environmental seal. Sustainable packaging keeps documents intact and moisture-free, though at great environmental advantage with respect to ordinary envelopes. While conventional plastic takes over 500 years to decompose, oxy-biodegradable packaging takes about 18 months.
JadLog's commitment to sustainability also involves fleet vehicles washing operations. The cleansing of its trucks is carried out within an environmentally friendly carwash, assembled at the company's headquarters in São Paulo, which stores, treats and reuses the water from the washes.
Searching transportation alternatives which generate lower carbon dioxide emissions is another sustainable initiative from JadLog. In order to attain this, the company makes use of tricycles and electric bicycles for its parcel collections and deliveries. These vehicles provide greater operational swiftness in high traffic areas, turning this activity into a more sustainable one, for there is a reduction in CO2 emissions, as well as in noise pollution levels.
